“Super close to the beach... which had a fire pit on the beach. Lots of rocks for rock hounding.”

“Motel was in a lousy area far from the beach. Room never got cleaned. Left a day early. Even after paying for the day. Over 250.00 I won't be back.”

“We did not end up staying here. The outside door that we were to use to get into the building was wide open. The room smelled of bleach gave us all a headache within 5 mins of being in the room. Felt unconfortable and not safe about the building in general.”

“The room was spacious and clean. There was a large fridge and there was AC, so important in this heat spell. The bathroom is small, the toilet was the smallest you could get in that space and the shower was stained. There was no breakfast. The restaurant is only open 4 days a week, and there is no restaurant open close by for breakfast or lunch. There were no staff on site.”

“Staff (owners I’d assume) were nice older folks. Rooms are VERY outdated, and could use some TLC. Tiny room, floor not clean, found pieces of leaves scattered about the floor. There was a girl softball team, staying there as well, a lot of loud talking, screaming, shrieking, giggling carrying on until midnight. Absolutely unacceptable. However, I spoke to one of the owners and he said he would take care of it, and I believe he did because Saturday night was very quiet. The best thing I can...

“No one cleaned our room, despite two requests - including one to housekeeping who was standing right outside our door as my husband left and promised they’d clean our room next. We called ahead to ask for a rollaway bed, then asked at check-in. Both times we were told the hotel was busy (for different reasons) with no extra beds. When we asked a third staff member, she actually made a request - and there were beds available. It was strange that the first two staff members never even checked....

“Room was small but adequate. Bathroom very small, shower extremely small, no place to set things except on window sill. Beds very comfortable. Check in was virtual, would have been nice to meet owners. Property was beautiful as well as clubhouse. Parking lot could use some painted lines, but we were one of three guests there at the time. Id stay again if i could get a lake view room with 2 beds.”

“This beautiful, well maintained property. The cabin is beautiul, the fireplace is cozy and the hot tub overlooking Lake Huron is a beautiful place to relax. This place is great because there is room for many people to gather and not feel crowded. There is also a gameroom with fun things to do for everyone. There is also a beautiful view from every window. The hosts were also great. ”

“We stayed at the cabin mostly just for nights to have a peaceful night sleep with the kids. We were in MI for a small reunion at the family hunting camp. The cabin was perfect for chill time and relaxing looking out at the snow covered trees. ”

“It was ok place to stay. It had nice big back yard. The bathroom sinks were very low. Only issue was large ants throughout the inside of the house.”

“The room was absolutely terrible. There was urine on the toilet seat, the bedding was dirty with pubic hair on the sheets and blankets, the floor hadn’t been vacuumed in awhile. I found dark curly hairs in the mini fridge along with a half drank 2liter of pop, the shower was also dirty with lots of curly hairs on the floor of the shower. I had to go and get bleach and disinfect the whole room. Would never recommend this place to anyone!”
